Ken Vogel shows Cougar pride on the Westside

Ken Vogel shows Cougar pride on the Westside After Ken Vogel moved from Cougarville (Pullman, Wash.) to Winlock (Lewis County), Wash., he’s demonstrated again and again that he’s a WSU Cougar through and through. Here’s photo proof of showing Cougar pride on the Westside

Jenny Hayton of WSU Athletics presents Ken with one of several WSU 2009 football posters from WSU Athletic Marketing/Promotions for Ken to distribute in western Washington. Photo taken July 7, 2009, by Sally Vogel in front of the rare, 1924-vintage 2-6-6-2T Mallet steam train engine on a siding at the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad Association's yard in Chehalis.

No doubt many members of Auburn (King County), Wash., High School’s Class of 1963 are Cougar fans. For example, here are class members/Coug fans Stu, Denny, Ron, Dennis and Joe. Ken Vogel is also a class member.

Joren and Janie are at the Timberland Regional Library branch in Winlock. Janie smiles after affixing a WSU football poster at the library’s front counter.

Ken noticed WSU collegiate license plates on the rig owned by the aunt in the photo. She did not give her name, but told Ken she attended WSU. Photo was taken in front of Timberland Bank in downtown Winlock with her nieces and nephews visiting from Colorado. These young people took Coug football posters home to help spread the word about/gain support for Cougar football.
